{"id":2616,"date":"2013-06-06T07:18:36","date_gmt":"2013-06-06T07:18:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/agraham.org\/blog\/?p=2616"},"modified":"2014-08-25T11:26:56","modified_gmt":"2014-08-25T11:26:56","slug":"wordsworth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/agraham.org\/blog\/2013\/06\/06\/wordsworth\/","title":{"rendered":"WordsWorth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Not worthy of words<br \/>\nwork on what&#8217;s well needed<\/p>\n<p>Short term satisfaction sacrificed<br \/>\nin lieu of long term likelihood of letting it lie<\/p>\n<p>An evaluation of benefits<br \/>\nputting pen to paper gives undeserved<br \/>\nAcknowledgment<br \/>\nRespect<br \/>\nInfluence<br \/>\nDeference<\/p>\n<p>Is it not better to forget and focus<br \/>\nthan focus to not forget?<\/p>\n<p>Channeling chapters of life into corrective contemplation<\/p>\n<p>Can&#8217;t remember now what I wanted to write into words<br \/>\nWould it be better to have committed characters and transcribed trite terms<br \/>\nthan wonder if my memory is failing as much as most mens minds must<\/p>\n<p>Fleeting phrases, words, discussions, real or not?<br \/>\nDreampt or remembered?<br \/>\nSpoken or imagined in mental preparation<br \/>\nNow I no longer know but can&#8217;t consider caring?<\/p>\n<p>Un-mused and unamused<br \/>\nI stopped writing<br \/>\nWords exchanged might barb and be forgotten<br \/>\nbut words typed remain forever<br \/>\n100% erased: never<\/p>\n<p>So the words were lost<br \/>\nbut words are worth<br \/>\nmore than the events they were to describe<br \/>\nthe only value scattered<br \/>\nfrom a time that hardly mattered<\/p>\n<p>And in the ashes of lifes hearth<br \/>\nare the words and what they were worth<\/p>\n<p>The only value<br \/>\nscat erred<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Not worthy of words work on what&#8217;s well needed Short term satisfaction sacrificed in lieu of long term likelihood of letting it lie An evaluation of benefits putting pen to paper gives undeserved Acknowledgment Respect Influence Deference Is it not better to forget and focus than focus to not forget?
