Of course if such a claim were true the DJ would be in luck, with a profile and a paranormal ability he can go for the Randi $1million Challenge.

Given that previous claimants with similar abilities have not been able to tell when wi-fi signals are on or not his chance of winning is low, but surely it would make his illness bearable to live off a million dollars?

They sent out moronic street teamers. They spammed forums etc. When they spammed UGS the users ripped the piss out of them. Now their management have noticed that the thread on UGS has a Google ranking of 2, just behind the band site. This obviously makes him a bit scared their hordes of fans will see what a bunch of fannies they are.

Their management PHases UK appear to be a bunch of cretins.

Not onlys is their website a single image, but the content of it says they provide Management and Music Solutions

Attendance was probably around 200, with loads of under 18s for some reason I couldn’t understand, maybe Frightened Rabbit has a following with the teens?

We just caught the end of the first support band not used to advertised doors times being accurate…They were quite good, as were the Grace Emilys.

Frightened Rabbit came on before 10 and played for an hour with a small encore. They were as good on stage as on CD. I really like the second album that Mike forced on us going listen you’ll love this as we were met with:

It takes more than fucking someone
To keep yourself warm

Much amusement. Their songs were also filled with innuendo and cheesy silliness If we have a hormone race, I’m bound to finish first says another verse of the same song.

The voice of the singer is unique, powerful, raw and with a really detectable accent, a cross between Billy Bragg and Flying Matchstick Men or something, who knows.

Hearing Keep Warm I was worried they would be a bit preachy. Head Rolls Off makes it clear they are not

It originally started as a board about hip hop, then a well timed explosion of the Dundee music scene a number of years ago co-ordinated with the death of the Kerosene board due to Colin deciding he was too old to be a DJ meant it had a period of rapid growth and then a decline when social network sites started taking off and filled the space sites like UGS were taking advantage of.

It now seems to be diversifying a lot after being narrowly focussed on the Dundee rock scene for a while.

I can heartily recommend it for random stuff, happenings in Dundee, crap films, good films and loads of bitter late 20 and early something ranters about the state of the world.

Linking

I am trying to write a short piece about why I am linking to a particular site and what it means to me rather than adding a plethora of random links from the blog. This means I have to actually think about my association with them and if I can’t write a short paragraph about why I am linking to them then I can’t really expect any readers to be interested in them.
